About Nipple Reduction
Nipple reduction refers to the surgical enhancement of the size of the nipple. Both the amount of nipple projection and the size of the pigmented skin (areola) surrounding the nipple may be reduced.
What To Expect
During your complimentary consultation Dr. Munasifi or Dr. Economides will review your medical history and examine you to determine if nipple reduction is suitable for you. The length of the procedure depends on the size and complexity of the reduction. Many procedures may be performed in the office under local anesthesia, while some may require general anesthesia or light sedation in an operating room.
