About Scar Revision
Scar revision refers to the surgical enhancement of a prior scar resulting from trauma, surgery, or c-section. Scar revision does not erase scars but seeks to improve and conceal their appearance.
What To Expect
During your complimentary consultation Dr. Munasifi or Dr. Economides will review your medical history and examine you to determine if scar revision is suitable for you. The length of the procedure depends on the size and complexity of the scar. Many scars may be revised in the office under local anesthesia.
